The University of Missouri is Missouri’s flagship university, with more than 34,000 students and one of the fastest-growing research operations of any public university in America. Mizzou is becoming a destination university because medicine, veterinary medicine, plant sciences, animal sciences and engineering are all located on the same campus. MU has several nationally recognized research programs in the life sciences including comparative medicine, plant biology, and radiopharmaceutical sciences/nuclear medicine.
